Purple Light Nights FSJ
In October 2025, I supported the launch and public outreach for Purple Light Nights FSJ, an awareness campaign addressing intimate partner violence. The initiative was brought to Fort St. John through a partnership between the Fort St. John RCMP and the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society.
As co-organizer of the official launch at Festival Plaza, I coordinated civic participation from Mayor Lilia Hansen, City Councillors, MLA Jordan Kealy, and local organizations. I also designed all visual materials for the event, including banners, signage, and the campaign poster.
Throughout the month, I served as a community spokesperson alongside RCMP Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer, speaking at public events across the city—from hockey games to local high schools and the college—to help build awareness and community engagement during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
